Whitney Thomas, WH Manager

After years of studying international relations, policy and various languages, I'm ready to take the next step to find the career that will allow me to use what I've learned!

As a child I remember being the MOST energized when it came to learning about government or policy, any chance to write and any time I had an opportunity to learn or practice a foreign language. From Russian to Japanese to French and Korean, I have always loved learning languages, interacting with people from other cultures and traveling to foreign countries (I studied abroad twice during my college career).

When I wasn't practicing or learning a foreign language, I was writing. Whether poetry, short stories or articles for the school newspaper (where I was Editor-in-Chief), I was always writing (or proofreading) something. Years later as a congressional intern, I was able to reignite this passion in writing for constituent newsletters as well as directly to constituents and I haven't let go of it since.

My long-term goal is to use my passions along with the skills I learned along the way to help the lives of others through policy and to bring the international community closer together.
