The UAE Cultural Diplomacy Exchange brings emerging leaders from around the world to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a week-long program to develop a deeper understanding of the Middle East and to engage with thought leaders and peers in the UAE.
2022
In February 2022, Globally selected 15 delegates from varying sectors to engage with thought leaders and peers in the UAE, and to develop a deeper understanding of the Middle East. Globally and the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC have a common purpose to execute programs to increase awareness and dialogue between the US and the Middle East region and are thrilled to provide professional development opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
2019
During the March 2019 Exchange, delegates engaged with UAE government officials, business leaders, cultural influencers, and rising professionals from all sectors to learn more about the UAE, its policy positions, and its deep relationship with the United States. Participants also visited cultural sites such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

About the UAE Embassy
For over 50 years, the UAE Embassy in Washington DC has worked to further its goal of fortifying the Emirati–American partnership. During this time, the bilateral relationship has expanded to include strategic collaboration with U.S. philanthropic, medical and academic organizations, promoting knowledge and culture sharing. The Embassy is led by Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, who has been a driver in pushing the Embassy’s goals forward since his appointment in 2008.
