G7 & G20 Youth Summits

Elevating youth voices to inform G7 and G20 leaders’ policy decisions.

The Y7 / Y20 is a leadership summit that convenes young professionals from G7 / G20 countries to develop policy solutions to current global challenges. Since 2018, we have selected, trained, and supported the USA delegation to the Y7 and Y20 summits. In 2020, we hosted the Y7 2020.

The Y7 and Y20 youth summits are engaging, week-long events that bring together rising leaders from G7 and G20 countries respectively to develop policy solutions and debate various global challenges. Note, that the USA Y7 and Y20 delegation does not represent the U.S. federal government in any capacity.

The Youth Delegates develop policy statements (communiqués) representing young voices addressed to the G7 and G20 leadership. “The most beneficial part of the Y7 Summit was that I was able to witness conversations between Y7 delegates and notable leaders around the world.”
