Udochi Esomonu, RTEP Intern, International Rescue Committee

My name is Udochi Esomonu. I recently graduated from the George Washington University where I studied Political Science and Sociocultural Anthropology. I am passionate about understanding voluntary migration, forced migration (both internal and cross-border), and forced immobility as political, social, economic, and cultural processes. In addition, I am interested in diaspora communities and the methods through which members of diasporas choose to adopt, maintain, reconstruct, and perform their identities in a transnational field.
