Tajah McCray is from Long Island, New York. She obtained an undergraduate degree from York College of Pennsylvania where she majored in International Relations and is currently a graduate student at Seton Hall University pursuing a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations. She specializes in post-conflict state reconstruction and sustainability as well as international law and human rights -- with a passion for community development and volunteering. Additionally, Tajah has been blessed with the opportunity to study abroad in Cuba where she studied the culture and environment and participated in an International Service-Learning trip to India which were both amazing learning experiences. Therefore, she hopes to pursue a career in international public policy, and believes this fellowship will provide her with the tools needed to achieve her goals through the skill-building opportunities offered, the support in exploring public policy careers and the internship opportunities.
