Rasik Hussain is a first year Master of Public Policy student at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs. His policy interests are international development, specifically in transportation and infrastructure, as well as domestic transportation and housing policy, although open to any new opportunities. He has a degree in History from UCLA as well as a graduate certificate in Applied Policy and Government from the Capital Fellows Program with California State University, Sacramento. He has experience in the non-profit, public, and private sectors, including an internship with Senator Dianne Feinstein, where he focused on transportation and energy issues. Rasik is a Muslim American and a son of immigrants from South Asia. He grew up in Los Angeles, California, but has lived in several different cities and is well traveled globally.
