Manda Bwerevu

Manda Bwerevu, a first-year M.P.P candidate at the Harris School of Public Policy, brings a rich background shaped by his upbringing in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, South Africa, and the United States. Focused on the intersection of economic development and entrepreneurship in Africa, Manda is passionate about employing innovative approaches to address global conflict and development issues.

Before joining Harris, Manda earned an Ed.M in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he was an Equity and Inclusion Fellow. Engaging with the Harvard Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program and serving as a DEI consultant at the Boston Mayor’s Office, Manda gained valuable experience. Currently a Graduate Assistant at the Harvard Office of Civic Engagement, Manda also served as a student ambassador at the Center for International Development at the Harvard Kennedy School. His diverse experiences include roles in the Africa Business Club at Harvard Business School, supply chain operations at Flexport, and contributions to the USC community during his undergraduate years.
