Linda Adebola is a graduate student at the Seton Hall University School of Diplomacy and International Relations pursuing a master's degree. Her area of focus is International Organizations, Latin America and the Caribbean. Her research interests include responses to women and children's rights violations, migration flows, global peace, and negotiation between states. Linda graduated from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) with a bachelor's in law and a master's in human rights and constitutional practice. After graduating, Linda clerked for Justice Albie Sachs at the South African Constitutional Court, was a visiting scholar with Rutgers Law School which included a clerkship with two judges at the New Jersey circuit court in Camden, was a pupil state advocate, a legal advisor in the public sector before going into private practice. After migrating to the US, Linda has worked in the private sector in retail/business. At the Seton Hall School of Diplomacy, Linda serves as an executive board member of the Sigma Iota Rho society, a research fellow with the National Security Fellowship, a member of the Black student organization and the Chapel choir. After graduation, Linda hopes to continue her work in women and children's rights advocacy with the hopes of generating policy insights applicable both nationally and across the globe.
