Jason Fujinaga
Jason Fujinaga, a Tulane University Master of Public Administration Candidate, serves as President of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Tulane Chapter. Concurrently, he works as the Operations Coordinator at Loyola University New Orleans Jesuit Social Research Institute, overseeing projects, leading student workers and interns, and managing logistical support.
Jason's dedication to public service is evident throughout his career. As a paralegal at the Mwalimu Center for Justice, he assisted indigent petitioners on Death Row in Louisiana and Mississippi. His previous roles include working at the Asian Law Alliance in San Jose, California, where he facilitated legal services for those unable to afford representation in immigration, housing, public benefits, and domestic violence. Additionally, as the Education Policy Coordinator at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, Jason contributed to creating career pipelines and programs for students facing career barriers.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in Public Policy and History from Tulane University, Jason also possesses a Paralegal Certification from Loyola University New Orleans.
