Hannah Reyes is a graduate student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Steve Hicks School of Social Work pursuing a dual-masters in Public Affairs and Social Work. Her areas of interest include poverty alleviation, mental health, development, and public-private partnerships. Hannah graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Psychology and a certificate of Pre-Health Professions. After her undergraduate studies, Hannah served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in her hometown of Houston, TX, with the Alliance of Community Assistance Ministries. There, she helped build the capacity and virtual operations of ACAM's Training & Networking Program for 14+ nonprofits that provide basic needs and services for the Greater Houston Area. Alongside her graduate studies, Hannah works as a Supportive Housing Intern at Foundation Communities and is a part of Impact Corps serving the Dream Come True Foundation. After graduation, Hannah hopes to work at the intersection of public and private sectors to provide a positive impact in her various policy areas of interest.
