Fatima Rezaie
Fatima Rezaie is a dedicated professional with a passion for public service and community engagement. Currently, she works on the Afghan Social Capital Initiative for Dorcas International as facilitator and consultant to enhance the self-sufficiency and social integration of the Afghan community in Rhode Island. She holds a B.A. in Public Administration and Political Studies from the American University of Beirut and is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs at Brown University.
Fatima is also actively engaged in advocacy and capacity-building initiatives, having served as a Youth Delegate at the World Forum for Democracy in France and as a guest speaker at the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum in Singapore. She is the founder of Educate2Empower, a program aimed at empowering Afghan youth, especially girls, through educational and development programs. Driven by a deep-seated commitment to fostering positive change and empowerment within communities, she looks forward to working in development, humanitarian, and peacebuilding sectors.
