Emmanuel Okonkwo

Emmanuel Kossy Okonkwo is an emerging leader at the intersection of ag-environmental economics, climate change, and digital policy. With a deep-rooted passion for sustainable development and a keen interest in the governance of digital spaces, Emmanuel is dedicated to crafting innovative solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Economics at Auburn University, Emmanuel has engaged in various research projects and initiatives aimed at addressing climate change and improving digital privacy. Through the PPNV Fellowship, he aims to deepen his understanding of policy-making processes and develop strategic approaches to environmental sustainability and digital governance.

Emmanuel is interested in exploring how public policies can incentivize environmental stewardship and promote green technologies, as well as safeguard individual privacy in an increasingly digital world. He believes in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and is eager to learn from and contribute to the diverse community of public policy professionals and peers within the PPNV network.
