Denver Barrows is an Air Force Reservist currently assigned to Travis Air Force Base, California. A KC-10 pilot and former logistics officer, he has multiple combat, humanitarian, and in-garrison assignments across the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean. Most notably, Denver served as the Director of Operations during anti-ISIL airbase opening operations in Syria and during Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico. As a civilian, he works at Amazon Air as a Senior Program Manager focusing on strategic projects and initiatives. Denver graduated from The University of Chicago in 2013 and earned a B.A. with general honors in Public Policy. Denver participated in Air Force ROTC while in college and was commissioned as a Distinguished Graduate from his detachment. He completed his M.S. in Logistics at the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2020. In 2021, Denver was named to the Out Leaders List by Out in National Security.
