Brianna Anderson is originally from the Chicagoland area. In 2017, she graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where she majored in Urban Studies and Organization & Human Resources. Going into her senior year, an internship with the Human Rights Campaign brought me to Washington, DC. She quickly fell for the city and its unparalleled access to the policy world. With luck, she was able to return when offered her present role with the Georgetown University Office of Advancement. This opportunity has allowed her to gain experience in applied quantitative analysis, data integrity best practices, and strategic planning as she assists the University in its ambitious philanthropic and engagement goals.
While at Georgetown, Brianna is also in pursuit of a Masters in Public Policy degree at the McCourt School of Public Policy. At McCourt, she studied the program’s core curriculum in economics, quantitative methods, management, and politics, while exploring electives in subject areas like human-centered design, strategy, and community development policy. Ultimately, she hopes to leverage her studies and opportunities offered by the PPNV fellowship, to help agencies across sectors deliver evidence-based solutions and life-critical services to vulnerable communities.
