Zoe Betancourt is a first year graduate student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs pursuing a Master's in Public Policy. Her area of focus is global policy, but also has interests in health and education policy. Zoe graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in Spring 2021 with a degree in Democracy & Justice Studies and Political Science, with a focus on the U.S. and the world. During her undergraduate journey, Zoe was named a Newman Civic Fellow. In addition, she also interned in London, England for Emily Thornberry MP at the MP's Islington constituency office. At the Humphrey School, Zoe is currently doing a practicum with Minnesota State Representative, Ruth Richardson's Education Policy Committee. After graduation, Zoe hopes to pursue a career in the foreign service.
