About YPFP
YPFP builds the next generation of diverse foreign policy leaders. We do this by providing YPFP members with capacity-building programs, engaging events, a global community of peers, and opportunities to elevate their voices through writing and publication.
Young professionals join this organization to engage in policy discussions, develop skills, and read our publications, but the underlying current driving all of this is connection and community.
Our Work
As a membership organization, we create connections for members to imagine, deliver, and lead innovative and equitable solutions for enduring global challenges. We:
Build a professional network so members can accelerate their professional growth and collaborate with each other.
Engage and build skills across sectors in foreign affairs to strengthen the capacity of foreign policy innovators.
Provide a platform through convening, publishing, and events so new and diverse voices are informing and leading foreign policy decisions and discourse.
Create leadership opportunities for YPFP staff to hone new leadership skills and develop as organizational leaders.
