Walker Adams is a first-year Master of Public Affairs student at The University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs. Walker has extensive experience providing data-driven solutions in politics and government, having worked as an aide in the US Congress, as a field manager on a US Senate Campaign, and as the Data Analysis Coordinator on Iowa’s state COVID-19 Task Force. By authoring articles for The Baines Report and serving as a representative in student government, Walker has become deeply involved on campus, and is always looking for new ways to bring his colleagues together. Growing up as a bisexual in a rural community of just 300 people, Walker is no stranger to speaking up for LGBTQIA+ rights. His primary policy interests revolve around the nexus between the national security sector, economics, and energy.
