Vegas T. Curry is a graduate student at the Helms School of Government at Liberty University pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration. His area of focus is cyber policy, and his research interests include the governance of cyberspace (the technical architecture that allows the global internet to function), governance in cyberspace (how states, industry, and users may use this technology), and American foreign cyber policy.

Vegas graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Global Criminal Justice and Women, Gender & Sexuality studies. After graduating, Vegas served as a VET Initiative Fellow with The Washington Center in the District of Columbia, interning with the U.S. Marshals Service: Office of Strategic National Stockpile Security Operations.

Vegas has spent the last two years working for the federal government in IT project management, empowering the government to achieve its foreign policy mission by providing modern, secure, and resilient information technology and services. After graduation, Vegas hopes to become a U.S. diplomat and work to defend and advance American foreign cyber policy interests abroad.
