Sheriyar Hyderali hails from Spring, Texas. He earned his BA in Health & Society and his BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health and Master's in Public Affairs. Sheriyar’s policy interests are public health policy, mental health policy, drug policy and healthcare services policy. During his time as an undergraduate at UT, he participated in internships, research opportunities, and community activities that broadened his policy and research interests, all of which he has expanded upon in his graduate studies. In his spare time he likes to play tennis, read, play his guitar, and explore Austin.
