Nick Gonzalez is a graduate student at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy pursuing a Master's in Public Policy. His area of focus is economic policy and his research interests include workers' rights, labor unions, and equitable access to good jobs. Nick graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Political Science, specializing in Race, Gender, and Politics of Justice. After graduating, Nick served as a Policy Analyst at the UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Initiative (LPPI) where he assisted with the organization's advocacy efforts and conducted policy research on multiple issues such as labor unions, automation, education, and redistricting. Nick also served as an intern in the Political Department at the Latino Victory Project based in Washington DC where he assisted in supporting the campaign needs of Latino candidates across the country. Prior to LPPI and Latino Victory, Nick interned on several political campaigns and in the District Attorney's Office of San Francisco. After graduation, Nick aims to continue working on labor, workers' rights, and economic issues as a legal and policy advocate in his home state of California.
