Nathalie Nunes Monteiro is a graduate student at Seton Hall University pursuing a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Relations. Her area of focus is international economic development and Latin America. Nathalie graduated from the Universidade Federal do Ceara in Brazil with a degree in Social History. After graduating in History, Nathalie worked as a history teacher for almost three years in middle and high schools, and after that, she moved to the United States.
In the U.S., Nathalie went back to the community college to improve her English language. She built her way up to her master’s degree at Seton Hall University, where she had the opportunity to be the secretary of the Black Diplomacy Student Organization and intern at the Satell Institute. At Satell, Nathalie collaborated with the construction of the Satell Institute annual impact report and interviewed CEOs of NGOs and corporations. After graduating, Nathalie hopes to work in developing Latin American countries and their policies related to the economy and human rights.
