Hannah Watson

Hannah Watson, a first-generation woman of color from Brooklyn, NY, currently pursues a master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on economic and racial equity at The Heller School of Social Policy and Management in Waltham, MA. Her academic passion lies in understanding international human rights policies, utilizing John Gaventa's Dimensions of Power framework to develop sustainable economic systems within the realm of human rights. Recognized for her commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) advocacy, she received the Sonia Sotomayor Award at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May 2021 for her campus impact.

As a PPNV fellow, Hannah aims to network with professionals in policy and advocacy, expanding her knowledge and acquiring tools to advance her academic and career goals. Beyond academics, she enjoys exploring new hobbies, traveling, and experimenting with cooking.
