Fernanda Maria Sepulveda is a graduate student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs pursuing a Master's in Public Affairs. Her area of focus is government and public sector consulting within the private sector, and her research interests include increasing pathways to job placement for H-1B international students, along with DEI initiatives and sustainably-driven solutions within private organizations. Fernanda graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in International Relations and Global Studies, specializing in International Political Economy. After graduating, Fernanda worked as a litigation assistant with Weisbart Springer Hayes, LLC, a corporate law firm in Austin. Two years later, Fernanda returned to the University of Texas at Austin as an LBJ student. At the LBJ School, Fernanda is a part of the LIFT Consulting Fellowship working to solve impact- focused problems with sustainable corporations, social enterprises, and non-profits. After graduation, Fernanda hopes to continue her work in government and public sector consulting within the private sector with a long-term goal to increase employment pipelines for international students in the U.S.
