Ernesto Godinez is a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing Master's degree in Public Policy. His focus is on education and social policy which influence outcomes for people all over the world. Ernesto graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sociology and African American Studies. After graduating, Ernesto served with Teach For America as a 7th grade educator in Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon completion of the program, he decided to continue his educational journey from the perspective of a student. His involvement in the first-year of graduate school ranges from a GU Politics student strategist to now being the project lead for the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Roundtable series. His passion lies in influencing policy and various other avenues which impact the lives of millions across the world.
