Edgar Miguel Grajeda

Edgar Miguel Grajeda, an educational leader and policy practitioner, utilizes his multinational teaching experience to empower marginalized communities. As a recent Teacher Trainer for Fulbright Taiwan, he played a pivotal role in advancing Taiwan's bilingual education initiative, providing nationwide professional development, educational consulting, and coaching to over 165 Fulbright English Teaching Assistants and their Taiwanese co-teachers.

Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Edgar, the first in his family to attend college, holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Chicano Latino Studies from California State University, Long Beach. Furthering his education with a Master's in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University, he earned the Paulo Freire Academic Excellence Award and induction into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Edgar's remarkable achievements include serving as a 1st Grade Teacher in Florida through Teach for America, teaching visual arts in South Los Angeles, and mentoring first-generation college students. Currently pursuing a Masters in Policy Management at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, Edgar earned a National Urban Fellowship and full-tuition scholarship, showcasing his dedication to transformative educational leadership and policy.
