Crista Farr, Cyber Operations Planner, USAF
Crista Farr is a Cyber Operations Planner for 16th Air Force; Air Forces Cyber, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Crista is responsible for providing defensive cyber support for all approved exercises and operations. Born and raised in Towson, Maryland, Crista is a 2011 graduate of the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature and Foreign Affairs. Prior to her current position, Crista was the Chief of Wing Intelligence for the 36th Wing, Andersen AFB, Guam. There she was responsible for ensuring 18 Intelligence Airmen from 5 squadrons stretching across 3 Numbered Air Forces had the necessary training and equipment to provide intelligence support for the Pacific Command’s Continuous Bomber Presence, Theater Support Packages, and Contingency Response Missions. Additionally, she assisted with joint integration and intelligence support for the Northern Mariana Islands as the Chief of Joint Intelligence for the Joint Region Marianas.
