Azeem Edwin is a Dual MGPS and JD candidate. Azeem is originally from Humble, Texas. As a proud Texan, he takes great pleasure in having also completed his undergraduate degree in International Relations at the University of Texas. Before coming to professional school, Azeem worked as a social worker and focused on the general homeless population and refugees.
During his time at LBJ, Azeem has served as Co-Chair of the Policy Alliance of Communities of Color, a fellow at the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy, and a Barbara Jordan National Fellow. After graduation, Azeem is interested in practicing international law. His favorite restaurant is Waffle House.
