Andy Hur is a second-year MPP Candidate at UChicago Harris School of Public Policy, specializing in public finance. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, they worked in international development impact evaluations and implementation of the Land Buy-Back Program, an indigenous land rights reparations program at the DOI.

Andy was also previously involved in various grassroots campaigns in DC, advocating for sustainable municipal investment and racial equity. In 2023, Andy participated in the Social New Venture Challenge at UChicago Booth School of Business with her team, highlighting her commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable economic development. Outside academia, she enjoys playing broomball with her team, Pink Starbursts.
