Abraham Cheung is a graduate student at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs pursuing a Master's in Public Policy. In his studies and work experience, he has focused on economic, transportation, and health policy issues.

He is passionate about researching these issues and identifying solutions to improve social mobility for historically marginalized communities. While working on his degree, he interns at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), where he works on regional economic analysis for labor, consumer goods, and housing issues in the San Diego region.

He is also currently a student researcher for UCLA Professor Mark Peterson studying the politics of health policymaking. After graduation, he hopes to work in economic policy and develop actionable policy alternatives to uplift marginalized communities.
