Isaac Russell

Isaac Russell, Director of Public Policy, Center for Economic Inclusion

Isaac Russell is the Director of Public Policy for the Center for Economic Inclusion. At the Center, Isaac works to create an inclusive economy for all by overcoming systemic racial barriers. He regularly works with policymakers, nonprofits, businesses, and equity advocates to align interests, identify and coordinate combined efforts, and promote economic public policies. Isaac also worked as a Legislative Assistant in the Minnesota State Senate for nine years, where he served in three different offices, including service in Senate Minority Leadership. Isaac graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a double major in History and Political Science, where he was a Ronald E. McNair and Ralph Bunche Summer Institute Scholar. He also received a Masters in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, where Isaac extensively studied great power politics, international relations theory, Russian foreign policy, and nuclear policy. Isaac is actively learning Russian language and writes and volunteers for a Minnesota nonprofit dedicated to citizen diplomacy.
